With the further easing of WA’s COVID-19 restrictions, The Perth Mint is pleased to advise changes to its Shop and Gold Exhibition operating hours from early December 2020.
From 5 December to 24 December the Gold Exhibition tour will run at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sundays only.
During this period, The Perth Mint Shop will resume trading on weekends from 9am to 5pm.
Bullion trading will be unavailable on weekends however you may sell your unwanted gold jewellery.
As of Sunday 27 December, tours will run hourly beginning at 9.30am with the final tour at 3.30pm.
Bullion trading will be available weekdays. Over the Christmas period it will only be conducted on 29, 30 and 31 December. The Perth Mint will continue to buy unwanted gold during shop opening hours.
Please note The Perth Mint will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
To minimise risk to the public and its staff, and to safeguard its essential production services, the Mint wishes to advise that the following precautions will continue to be enforced:
- Temperature testing for all visitors
- Social distancing of 1.5m between patrons at all times
