Lost Eden Creative is an artist run exhibition space and holiday accommodation in the main street of Dwellingup, one hour southeast of Perth, in the mighty jarrah forests of the Darling Scarp. Lost Eden’s distinctive black and muralled facades contain a lofty, light filled gallery interior. Easily the coolest building in town.
The vision is to be a focal point for arts and culture in the Peel region by promoting the work of emerging and established West Australian and guest international artists.
An eclectic program of month long exhibitions throughout the year provides an inspiring perspective into the West Australian contemporary arts scene.
The sunny garden and decked area to the side of the gallery is soon to be home to “Street Eats @ Lost Eden”. A restyled timber horse float offering plant-based food options and refreshments. Opening in Spring 2020.
Nourishment for the body and the soul, all in one place.
'Gallery House' is the tastefully renovated 3x2 holiday residence attached to the rear of the gallery. A king size bed with ensuite, a queen and two singles, accommodates up to 6 people in homely comfort. Wheelchair friendly and fully equipped. The house retains its original and charming 1940s art deco features. It has an inside log fire for winter cosying and a fire pit and raised deck area out the back. Gallery House is centrally located to all that the town of Dwellingup has to offer; be it mountain biking, trail hiking, art appreciating, trainspotting or cider tasting.
It is the perfect base to experience all of it.
