Whale watching in Perth

Did you know that the Humpback Highway, down WA's coast, experiences the largest whale migration in the Southern Hemisphere - with 35,000 making the trip each year!

The Humpback Highway is part of an ancient system of ocean paths that circle the planet, vastly pre-dating any road travelled by man. In April each year, the whales leave the rich feeding grounds of Antartica to raise their young in the warmer waters of the Kimberley in WA's north west. Their return journey trip from September - December brings them much closer to Perth's coast, providing the perfect opportunity for an encounter on an thrilling whale watching cruise.
